How much does it cost to take part?

Pixel Arcadia is FREE for publishers and developers to take part, content submissions will be reviewed and selected editorially.

Where can I submit content?

Can I pay for placement?

Pixel Arcadia is an editorially driven event and aside from a moment for our headline sponsor all content if selected on this basis to ensure value for our audience. We do have some opportunities in the pre-show and countdown as part of our sponsor packages as well as opportunities for hardware to appear on set for filming. Can I still be a sponsor?

Absolutely - we have some great sponsors lined up for announcement in July but there’s still a place for those looking to support the retro space in our industry - reach out via the form below and we can share more details.

Great question - and one that’s up for debate, but we’ve generally defined this as an era pre-HD, prior to Gen VII (i.e. the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360).

If in doubt please submit your content for the event and we’ll aim to give you fast feedback - if there’s an angle that works we’ll help you find it. Our main categories are re-releases/remakes, contemporary retro games,  reimagined retro classics/new entries in beloved franchises and new games made for retro hardware. If you have a video game preservation story we’d love to share this too.

For the August showcase we are looking to have all content in hand by 24 July 2026.
